Singer and restaurateur Federico Fuoco was named Italian Canadian Man of the Year in 2018 for his charitable initiatives. He had a controversial stand on the COVID lockdown that hurt many small businesses. Unfortunately, his popular Italian restaurant “Federico’s Supper Club” was greatly affected by the lockdown and eventually closed down during the pandemic.
As a singer/musician himself, Federico was passionate about uplifting talented local musicians and brought back live music on the Commercial Drive.
