Harmony Arts Festival 2015

ARTS & ROCK N ROLL & LEANDRO! What a funtastic way to close this year’s Harmony Arts Festival! It was a most amazing last time for my baby brother/dancer/choreographer/director Leandro Mendez to rock with us on stage! Thousands of people came and stayed until the end. The festival staff told us they had to close the 2 main entrances to prevent people from coming in due to fire hazards. The venue already had full maximum capacity, estimated 5,000 and there were long line-ups of people still tryin’ to get in. We were happy to hear from new fans we met after the show that that was the busiest night at the festival they ever witnessed in many years. We did not expect such a huge crowd as there were many outdoor festivals and events happening. But I guessed “it’s the HAIR, the LIPS, the VOICE and the ROCK N ROLL ATTITUDE”! Haha!

THANKS FOR ALL THE CHEERS AND APPLAUSE! YOU MADE MY BABY BRO’S LAST TINA SHOW VERY, VERY SPECIAL! MY HEART IS STILL POUNDING. IT WAS A BREATHTAKING NIGHT TO REMEMBER.

To my brother, Leandro Mendez, the TINA Tribute family show will never be the same without your beautifully crafted fierce talents, creative contributions and hardworking diva attitude that broke several barriers in all 15 years of successful shows. Together we dare to build the dream and we did it despite the challenges. Steve Marshall, Zenia, Kimi, Tota and I will miss you, bro. Thanks for being a huge part of my career. I am forever grateful and will always be the crazy sister who loves you with all my heart!

Luisa Marshall’s Tina Turner Tribute along with her band and dancers will be back at the Harmony Arts Festival! Luisa and her crew will be closing out the 10 day festival with a big bang on Sunday, August 9th, 2015 on the Late Night Garden Stage at Millennium Park in West Vancouver. The 2003 Rock N Roll Tribute Artist Champion previously performed at the Harmony Arts Festival in 2012 to rave reviews. The Harmony Arts Festival is one of the North Shore’s best loved community events and this year will be celebrating its 25th anniversary. The family friendly event celebrates world-class musical performances, inspiring visual arts and delicious food!
