We are proud to highlight 3 more outstanding winners of the RBC Top 25 Canadian Immigrant Awards 2019.

A Big Celebration and Recognition from all walks of life! From artists to entrepreneurs to community leaders, Canada just becomes a better place where diversity and inclusion thrives. Once again it’s time to celebrate the beautiful diversity of Canada.

The winners of 2019 RBC Top 25 Canadian Immigrants have been recognized through their remarkable work, outstanding contribution to their own communities and their mother country. We are blown away that they continue to support and dedicate their service to others in their own respective fields. They are really inspiring!

Here are some remarkable winners:

  • Maryam Sadeghi from IRAN: Her decision to start her own company after a CEO of a company rejected her proposal was a game changer. With her entrepreneurial spirit and hard work, MetaOPtima Technology was born in Vancouver, BC.
  • Marquis Lung from CHINA: Marquis Lung came from China to Canada in 1978 and worked as a family and youth counsellor in Ontario. In 1988, he moved to Vancouver and worked as a youth employment counsellor and a youth development programmer. Now he is operating his own Kung Fu School for 25 years now at 6 different community centres.
  • Krittika D’Silva from INDIA: As an undergraduate in bio and computer engineering, Krittika D’Silva worked in 3 research labs and designed devices to improve prosthetics sockets for individuals with lower limb amputations. She also built softwares.
