FEELIN’ MARVELOUS TUESDAY! My body is very, very sore but my spirit and soul is stronger than ever! It was an unforgettable Haida Gwaii experience for the Luisa Marshall Band (3rd Edition) last weekend. The Dance to Celebrate the Life of Sheila Williams at the Skidegate Hall on Saturday, September 28th was a total blast! On behalf of my crew Steve Marshall, Kim Mendez, Jojo Palermo and Marlowe Mata, supah thanks to Sheila’s daughter Janine Williams for inviting us to be a part of this. We are so honoured. The crowd was amazing and the band had a blast! Dance floor was packed ’til the end! Super hits of the night… Blurred Lines, Get Lucky, Simply the Best, Proud Mary and of course Roxy Roller!

Before the Show

After the drive from Masset we couldn’t help but take pictures outside beautiful Skidegate before setting up for the show.

The Show

What an amazing experience! Skidegate is always such a high energy fantastic time! We absolutely loved it! Super thanks again to Janine Williams for organizing such a wonderful event in honour of her mother Sheila. Thanks to all the wonderful volunteers who made sure we were well taken care of. Also, Gregory Williams, thank you so much for all your help! We couldn’t have done it without you! The very talented Greg came up to sing 2 songs with the Luisa Marshall Band both nights, singing Satisfied by Bob Seger and Listen to the Music by the Doobie Brothers. Fun times!
