Simply the Best – The Luisa Marshall Show has been invited to cover US-Philippines Society’s “Philippines on the Runway” on Wednesday, October 9th, 2013 at the Vigor Industrial Shipyard, Swan Island in Portland, Oregon. The fashion show features designers Alan Del Rosario, Anthony Cruz Legarda, Francis Libiran and David Tupaz. The Lifestyle Exhibit & Cocktail Hour starts at 6:30pm with the Fashion Show at 8:00pm. Tickets are available at http://www.fashionxt.net/ and range from $25-$150.
Fun Facts about the featured designers:
- Alan Del Rosario’s gowns are worn by Hollywood stars and his clothing collection can be found at major fashion stores like Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue and Macys Beverly Hills to name a few.
- Anthony Cruz Legarda designed for Philippine President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo and the Science & Technology Ministers from Southeast Asia for the 8th ASEAN Science & Technology week. He also dressed the Top 8 Finalists in the Miss Earth Beauty Pageant in 2007.
- Francis Libiran was featured in America’s Next Top Model in 2012 for his Hello Kitty Couture Collection. His collection was so impressive that he designed dresses and gowns for Top Model creator and host Tyra Banks.
- David Tupaz’s collection can be seen at major red carpet events such as the Oscars, Grammy’s, Emmy’s and Golden Globes. He has many high-profile clients and supporters like Julia Roberts, Etta James, Lucy Liu, William Shatner, Kris Kardashian, Martin Sheen and Scott Hamilton.
