Get Involved: Just recently the Federal Government suspended the Temporary Foreign Worker Program. Vancouver-Kensington MLA Mable Elmore initiated a forum to call for ACTION for the community to support and make an awareness on the suspension.

Inspiring Moments at the Drake Medox College Graduation
Super thanks to Drake Medox College for inviting us to their graduation ceremony that took place Friday, May 2nd, 2014 at the Italian Cultural Centre in Vancouver. Since 98% of the graduates are mostly Filipinos, we are so proud to meet and cheer all these men and women while they happily took turns to receive their diplomas.
What a great achievement for our kababayans who came to Canada as Live-In Caregivers and still manage to study despite their busy workload and hectic schedules. Drake Medox College specialize in Health Care Education for adults who are interested in a career in Health Care. Class of 2014 Valedictorian Lorna Orfano was emotional during her speech thanking her number one supporter, her employer and friend Natalie Garcia. It was overall a very heartwarming moment for all to see.
A Call for Action: The Temporary Foreign Worker Program Simply the Best supports the Temporary Foreign Worker Program. Our team will follow the story on the suspension of the program.
Reinvention of Disco World Premier 
I am so happy and proud of my brother Leandro Mendez for making his passion alive. He’s the writer, director and choreographer of the new exciting show “Reinvention of Disco.” The world premier will take place on May 22nd, Thursday, at the Rio Theatre in Vancouver. See y’all at the RIO! This will be a blast!
