Lulu’s Lounge @ the River Rock

SIMPLY THE BEST WEEKEND AT THE RIVER ROCK! Last weekend started on Thursday with a bang with my TINA at the MDA Corporate party on a cruise. So nice to meet new Tina fans from all over the world! Then 2 big funtabulous busy, busy nights Friday & Saturday at the River Rock’s LULU’S LOUNGE. The place was packed for 2 nights! Thanks to all the fans and friends who came out! Friday night was absolutely CRAZY!

Friday night at Lulu’s was crazy! Dance floor rockin’ all the way up until the very last song of our 3rd and final set at 1:30am. It was so nice to see those familiar smiling faces and also to all the new fans that came out to have a great time with us! On stage with us, and all the way from Ukraine, was Paul on Trumpet helping us with one of the hits of the night Capital Cities’ “Safe & Sound.”

Saturday started with filming Simply the Best, The Luisa Marshall Show interview with the very glamorous and talented Miss World Canada 2013 Camille Munro.

Then 2 more super guests arrived at Lulu’s to jam with LMB. Our very inspirational friend Riley Inge Sr. formerly on stage with the Temptations gave a very, very beautiful rendition of Stand By Me that made the evening so special. Riley is warming up to headline his own show FLASHBACK TO MOTOWN REVIEW, A Night of Motown Music on June 7th Saturday at the Edgewater Casino Stadium Club with some very, very cool artists.

Our super friend singer/bass player “Mr. Big Personality” Henri Brown was also so generous to join us on stage and sing his dynamic version of HOT HOT HOT on the 2nd set with our special guest Star Bernardo aka Winnie Chan’s WAKA WAKA. People just went wild! AMAZING! Thanking Henri again for recommending our very, very talented bass player/vocalist Marlowe Mata. We love him so much! His professionalism in musicianship is impeccable. Very, very cool!

We are so happy to be told that most of the people who came to Lulu’s on the weekend really came to see us. They came early to secure their table and line-up for 2 sets. It’s an amazing feeling to be appreciated and people having fun with the band. The energy on stage was just phenomenal!  Thank you to all those who came up to compliment us on our playing and our sound. Sound wise, thanks to Steve and Tony! So happy to be on stage with awesome musicians who love to perform any style of music, who are thoughtful and considerate, have a super kind and thoughtful attitude. Thanks everyone!
